Our story
VILLA ALBERTI was built in the first half of 1700, enlarged and re-arranged in 1800, the Villa, after several vicissitudes, was taken over by our family ten years ago in a semi-abandoned state.
We have worked hard to fulfil a careful and philologiocal restoration and, being ourselves architects, we were able to manage by our own direction the recovery works which lasted for about 5 years.
We are very proud of our park which, together with the Villa has been recovered and rennovated.

The furniture: the furniture of the halls is enriched by precious art objects like vases, paintings, sculptures, lamps, ceramics, many of them in liberty style, or art-nouveau, or jugendstil; results of a passionate and patient research which has lasted for 40 years.
Our park: stretching for about two and half acres (10.000 square metres) southern to the Villa, you can appreciate three different areas: the garden itself in front of the main building and the depandance, the orchard and the vegatable garden bordering on the countryside.
The garden is charcterised by over 250-years-old secular trees and crossed by a long path where you can find some ancient marble wells and water polls for the birds.
The orchard (“brolo”) is made of over 30 fruit-trees of different fruit varieties and two rows of vines so our guests can always pick up some fruit straight from the trees.
The vegetable-garden is enclosed by an old boundary wall and a rose bush; here the atmosphere of a benedectine monastry is really pleasant and relaxing.
A belvedere terrace (panoramic view), built on the southern part odf the ancient wall, allows you to contemplate and admire the surrounding countryside in a state of complete silence and relax.
